Where we work across Teesside
Based around Middlesbrough, we clear homes, flats, garages and business premises across Teesside, including much of Stockton-on-Tees and Redcar and Cleveland.
Clearances across three council areas
Our work centres on Middlesbrough, but Teesside does not stop at a borough boundary, and neither do we. Many of the families we help live in one town and are clearing a relative's home in another. We cover the Middlesbrough Council area, the parts of Stockton-on-Tees borough south and north of the river, and the towns and villages of Redcar and Cleveland. If you do not see your area listed below, please ask, as we may still be able to help.
Middlesbrough and its suburbs
Within the town, we regularly work in the Victorian streets of Linthorpe near Albert Park and the mix of older and post-war homes in Acklam. Further south, Marton and Nunthorpe have larger family houses, often with garages and lofts to empty. Coulby Newham is mostly newer estate housing, while Ormesby, on the eastern edge, sits close to the border with Redcar and Cleveland.
Stockton-on-Tees borough
Across the A19, we cover Thornaby and the large modern estates of Ingleby Barwick. We also travel into Stockton town and its surrounding neighbourhoods and north of the Tees to Billingham. Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has its own rules on bulky waste, so if you only have one or two items it is worth checking the council website first.
Redcar and Cleveland
East of Middlesbrough, we clear homes in Eston and neighbouring Normanby, below the Eston Hills. On the coast, we cover Redcar and the Victorian seaside town of Saltburn, and inland we reach the market town of Guisborough. For information on council services in this area, see the Redcar and Cleveland Council site.
Working across boundaries
Families are often spread out. A son in Billingham may be clearing his late mother's bungalow in Guisborough, or a landlord in Stockton may own a flat near Middlesbrough town centre. We are used to arranging access with people who cannot be on site, collecting keys from a neighbour or solicitor and sending photos once the job is done. Distance within Teesside is rarely a barrier, so please do not assume you are too far away before checking with us.
What we do in every area
Wherever you are, the service is the same: a free quote, a clear plan and careful work. We handle whole-house clearances, clearances for executors, rented property clearances and smaller jobs such as lofts and garages. You can learn more on our Middlesbrough house clearance home page.

Where we work
Frequently asked questions
Do you cover areas outside Middlesbrough?
Yes. As well as Middlesbrough itself, we work across much of Stockton-on-Tees and Redcar and Cleveland, including Thornaby, Ingleby Barwick, Billingham, Eston, Redcar, Guisborough and Saltburn. If your town or village is not listed, send us your postcode and we will tell you whether we can reach you.
Is there an extra charge for travelling further?
Travel time is one of the things we take into account when pricing a job, alongside volume, access and the type of items. For most of Teesside it makes little difference. We include everything in the quote up front, so the price you receive already reflects where the property is.
Can you clear a relative's home if I live far away?
Yes. Lots of our clients live outside the area. You can send photos or ask a neighbour or solicitor to show us round, and we can arrange key collection and return. We keep you updated by phone or email and can send photos once the property has been cleared.
Which council should I contact about bulky waste?
It depends on where the property is. Homes in Middlesbrough fall under Middlesbrough Council, Thornaby, Ingleby Barwick, Stockton and Billingham under Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, and Eston, Normanby, Redcar, Guisborough and Saltburn under Redcar and Cleveland Council. Each runs its own bulky waste arrangements.
